1. I know His Lordship Bishop Michael Ugwuja Eneja.

2. I have known him for more than sixty years from the time he was the parish priest at Iva valley.

3. Bishop Eneja was a friend of my wife and me.

4. He never forgot the carved wood bowl of kolanut and the accompanying ground melon seeds with which it was eaten.

5. His Lordship lived a simple life of a man of God, very regular with his habits.

6. Preparations for the beatification of His Lordship immediately he is called home will encourage Christians who think of heaven as far, far, far away, and unattainable.

7. And this is my prayer.
